Meet Antone White

Antone White is a passionate advocate for justice and community empowerment. After being released from prison through the "First Step/Fair Sentencing Act 2018," he founded and became the CEO of Our City DC and Our City United, a media company dedicated to being a voice of truth and integrity. Antone's mantra, "Our City, Our People, Our Problem, Our Solution, Our Responsibility," reflects his belief that as a society, we should focus on finding solutions rather than dwelling on problems.

In addition to his media ventures, Antone also established the retail clothing line, OUR CITY, and partnered with Jahaur Abraham and Edward Ford to create "THE ATONEMENT PROJECT" (TAP). TAP is a prison initiative aimed at reducing violence and providing mentorship to instill values of character in individuals. The program's mission is to break the cycle of violence that plagues communities and guide individuals towards a path of integrity and purpose.

Antone's commitment to community empowerment extends to his involvement in "Jobs For Youth," a petition he wrote advocating for legislative changes to provide job programming and opportunities for young people. He firmly believes that providing income and employment opportunities for youth can significantly reduce crime and violence.

Antone White's journey from incarceration to community leader is a testament to the power of resilience, determination, and the belief in the potential for positive change. He continues to inspire individuals to make a positive impact in their communities and cities, promoting a united front against violence and advocating for the betterment of society.
